With everyone keeping their distance, remember that stories can still bring us together. On the rise are virtual storytelling shows, comedy shows, open mics, and the like. With that in mind, I’ll be tracking as many as I can find. Below are the ones I know of already. There are a few things to pay attention to:
- The list is broken into 2 sections
- Those shows that are happening on specific dates, and those that are happening over varying dates over the next few weeks
- For those from the DC, MD, and VA area, you will find local favorites such as Better Said Than Done, The Story collider, and Story District. You will also find shows from Canada, the Netherlands, and other faraway places. To get the exact times and dates, be sure to click the links for more info.
- Some shows have a cost, some are free, some ask for a donation. Click the link for more info
- Some of the shows are using Zoom, others are Facebook live, other will use Instagram. Once again, click the link for more info (are you noticing a theme here?)
- Some don’t have links up yet (I know, I know, I just told to check the links.) Once those links are updated, I’ll update the blog. You can also follow me on Facebook @storytellingonpurpose365 where I will have the most up-to-date info on virtual shows
If you know of more that I don’t have it listed, I’d love to hear from you!
