Welcome to a small storytelling destination spot meant to showcase the local DC, Maryland, and Virginia storytelling scene.  With the onset of the 2020 pandemic, I now look at the storytelling scene worldwide. Since Storytelling is for everyone, why not help connect everyone to storytelling, right? So this small drop in the information ocean is set out to do the following:

  1. Help you find the storytelling places
  2. Help you find places to try and practice storytelling
  3. Help you find articles, videos, and other information resources to help you improve your storytelling

But why? Aren’t stories just for kids? Silly Rabbit, stories are NOT just for kids! Stories are for connections between people. Stories are for passing on legacy and memories. Stories are about helping people understand complex things in a simple way. Stories have a purpose, so why not tell Stories on Purpose?
