Happy July! Once again, there are so many great storytelling events happening online as well as in the DC, MD, and VA areas. In this month’s list, there are a number of cool shows and events. Some are related to activism for women or those with disabilities. Then there are things like The Capital Fringe (https://capitalfringe.org/events/?)! It’s pretty common that some one-person shows are great stories but are not necessarily listed as storytelling events. There are even a few new storytelling events added to the reoccurring list at the bottom.

While I normally only cover the DC, MD, and VA area, with all shows being online now, I have broadened my scope of storytelling so you can broaden your scope of story listening. With that in mind, do take a look at the Virginia Storytelling Alliance (VASA) Website (https://virginiastorytellingalliance.org/events/) as well as The National Storyteller Network (NSN) (https://storynet.org/calendar/?cid=my-calendar&month=5&yr=2020), The Northeast Storytelling website (https://www.nestorytelling.org/calendar/), The Voices in the Glen Storytelling Guild (https://voicesintheglen.org/) and Chicago Storytelling

https://chicago-storytelling.com/events-at-a-glance as they have story shows that I may not have listed myself.

An important note, I have links to shows and the days they will happen, but the info about time, tickets, and other info you are going to have to click on the links, or check out their website or Facebook page. Pay particular attention to the time zone, as these shows are coming from all over the US, and in some cases the world.

Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to check for events. Some events that happen multiple times in a week or month are listed at the bottom.

Happy storylistening!
