July is here! That means we have made it halfway through another year. Trust me, there are still more stories to tell. The DC Capital Fringe is back! They don’t have shows classified specifically as storytelling, but some are. Diane Veiga’s show “Just doing my job” (https://capitalfringe.org/events/im-just-doing-my-job-one-woman-show-by-diana-veiga/) and The Body Show (https://capitalfringe.org/events/the-body-show/) are 2 that I know of. You’ll have to browse through some of the other shows to see if others are as well. Of course, there are still tons of other storytelling shows to attend online and in-person in the DC, MD, and VA area. Check back to this list over the next few weeks. I know there are a few that I am missing.

While I normally only cover the DC, MD, and VA area, with all shows being online now, I have broaden my scope of storytelling so you can broaden your scope of story listening. With that in mind, do take a look at the Virginia Storytelling Alliance (VASA) Website (https://virginiastorytellingalliance.org/events/) as well as The National Storyteller Network (NSN) (https://storynet.org/calendar/?cid=my-calendar&month=5&yr=2020), The Northeast Storytelling website (https://www.nestorytelling.org/calendar/), and Chicago Storytelling

https://chicago-storytelling.com/events-at-a-glance, as they have story, shows that I may not have listed myself.

An important note, I have links to shows and the days they will happen, but the info about time, tickets, and other info you are going to have to click on the links or check out their website or Facebook page. Pay particular attention to the time zone, as these shows are coming from all over the US, and in some cases the world.

Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to check for events. Some events that happen multiple times in a week or month are listed at the bottom.

Happy storylistening!
