In this blog post, I am looking at Facebook Pages that are connected to storytelling. These are the ones that I know and are connected to. There are many, many more out there. Some are pages done by phenomenal storytellers that I know. Some are by phenomenal storytellers that I don’t know personally, but are doing great things. Some pages are even organizations or places that storytelling is a part of what they offer to the public.

Like the Facebook groups blog post, what inspired me to share this post is that this one of the ways I am learning storytelling. The different kinds storytelling, the crafting of stories, the storytelling events, what people are doing with it, what it means to society, what it can mean for the future. These pages have a wide range of info to learn from and use.

Trust me, there are a lot more out there. Use these as your starting points, but know that these are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to immersing yourself into the world of storytelling.

One last thing. Take your time with this list. Save it somewhere and come back to it. Pretty sure it has tripled since last year. It took me a few hours to get all the links in here. It will take at least that long to check out the links.

After years of being an instructor in the military and the and the fire service, I realized I needed to improve my delivery. My students needed me to improve delivery. But how do I improve my delivery? Simple. I finally took a member of Toastmasters up on the invitation to come to a meeting. It wasn't long until I joined. Along the way of improving my skills at delivering a message, I came to understand that of all the ways to get a point across, telling stories is the best way to get it done. Around this time, another friend from Toastmasters told me about The Moth monthly story telling shows. What better way to test out my theories on storytelling. It's in my travels there to the shows that I found more and more shows, and classes, and events centered around storytelling. Despite how many people know about the storytelling world, not many people know about the storytelling world. So now, I'm out to tell the world about storytelling.
